Interior
The house has modern amenities and a mixture of antiques and contemporary furnishings. We value traditional style and comfort. The terracotta floors and wood-beamed ceilings show off traditional Umbrian materials. The spacious kitchen -with its large American-style fridge- is our villa's focal point, the raised fireplace is ideal for cooking on a grill on a cold evening. Just outside is our pergola, smothered with flowering vines providing delicious shade or summer al fresco dining. The living room has a state-of-the-art wood pellet-fired stove that can heat downstairs radiators.
Garden, Terraces & Pool
From spring onwards the garden comes alive and each area is like an outdoor room, with discreet seating areas with views that astonish. The villa grounds are laced by medieval walls that delineate different areas; the stones resonate with history. We are blessed with a million dollar view of Todi and the rolling hills of Umbria, carpeted with fields of sunflowers, vineyards and olive groves. Poolside there is shade and two stunning terraces. Outside the kitchen is a marble dining table for lunches and dinners under trumpet vines.
House & Garden
- Services Our treasured housekeeper will always put a smile on your face. She is happy to cook delicious country meals, babysit. and iron or clean for guests. (Upon request)
- Games and Gadgets We have a Smart TV, a bluetooth speaker and a portable ping pong kit that sets up nicely on the outdoor marble dining table. We also have badmitton and a set of bocce, should anyone want to try the ancient Roman game. We've also got a good range of books in the upstairs study.
- Family-friendly We can offer a portable cot and a high chair. The pool is surrounded by a hedge and chestnut fencing.
- Pool Open from June-August. A supplement requested outside those three months.
- Winter heating: It is metred and charged based on usage.
